Yaesu DR2X Repeater: We have the opportunity to trade in our DR1 and get the DR2X for $500 + shipping. Motion to take advantage of the trade-in offer. Motion passed. New Business: Per last month's resolution, HARC Membership now runs on renewal anniversary date, not the calendar year. Phil, K8PVH: Our April meeting will consist of a tour of the new Holland Power Plant. Note the special meeting time of 6:30pm. Names and addresses for all attendees must be submitted at least two days prior to the tour. Phil will bring a sign-up sheet to the March HARC meeting. New Meeting Location: Tom, K8TB: there have been discussions starting at the 2018 Board Meeting regarding a new permanent home for HARC. The VictoryPoint youth building has served us well, but there is no assurance that the facility will be available to HARC on a long-term basis. The Board has had discussions with the Chick-Owa Sportsman's Club regarding moving HARC meetings to their location. Their facility has a larger meeting room, and we would be able to meet there rent-free, although our meetings would have to move to Tuesday nights. Motion to begin meeting at Chick-Owa starting with the May, 2018 meeting. Motion passed. Jack, KE8CIO & Jeff, KD8THX suggested that we should investigate bringing in Internet service to Chick-Owa. Jared, KE8GBF will contact Internet service providers to obtain quotes for installation and service. Nick, KD8JBG: Suggested switching the HARC reflector from Yahoo Groups to groups.io. The business meeting was adjourned at 8:46pm. Submitted: Todd Boss, W8YHF, filling in for: Josh Barnes, KE8DXB Holland ARC Secretary secretary@hollandarc.org Please contact the Secretary with comments or corrections.
