General Membership Meeting Minutes October 12, 2015 The meeting was called to order at 7:02pm by Phil K8PVH. Secretary's Report: Minutes of the August meeting were accepted as published on the HARC website. Treasurer's Report: General Fund: $3490.99 Membership: $336.76 Total: $3827.75 Treasurer and secretary reports were accepted as read. Opening Remarks: Jack came to VE testing last saturday and earned his technician ticket. Park to Park race went off without a hitch and the organizers thank the amateur radio operators that helped out. Every wednesday afternoon at 2:00pm there are local Hams that get together for coffee at Doughnutville on the south side of Holland. Upcoming events: October Muskegon Hamfest October 17, Fellowship Reformed Church on Apple Ave. Kalamazoo Hamfest October 18, Kalamazoo Fairgrounds Ottawa County quarterly volunteer meeting thursday October 19, 7:00pm Programs: VE Testing: VE Testing is conducted at the Red Cross on the second Saturday of each even-numbered month at 6pm. “Ham in a Day” events are held prior to the April, August, and December VE testing sessions at 1pm. New Business: W8IQF John Du Mez has donated an Alinco DX-77 transceiver and an HT to the club. HARC will be sending him a thank you letter.
