General Membership Meeting Minutes September 14, 2015 The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Tom, K8TB. Secretary's Report: Minutes of the August meeting were accepted as published on the HARC website. Treasurer's Report: General Fund: $3616.76 Membership: $336.76 Total: $3953.52 Treasurer and secretary reports were accepted as read. Opening Remarks: Minutes and treasurer's report accepted as posted. Phil is in the process of renewing our charter. Donations to the club are tax deductible! West Michigan Aviation Academy has been selected to communicate with ISS by Amateur Radio during a pass in the next two months. East Saugatuck Community Park will have a fundraiser to benefit the park Saturday September 26, 12:00 to 5:30. Park to Park race coming up in two weeks. CERT training at to be offered at Filmore complex. Ottawa county Emergency Management damage assessment class thursday September 17 at 6:30. North Ottawa club is supporting a 5k race on September 26. Upcoming events: September September 26, Park 2 Park Race Six hams are needed for simplex operation in support of this event, two or three more are still needed. 7:00am to 12:30pm. October Programs: VE Testing: VE Testing is conducted at the Red Cross on the second Saturday of each even- numbered month at 6pm. “Ham in a Day” events are held prior to the April, August, and December VE testing sessions at 1pm. ISS Pass West Michigan Aviation Academy has applied to be a ground station for a ISS pass. Park to Park Race Todd needs two or three more volunteers for race communication support.
