General Membership Meeting Minutes
August 10, 2015

The meeting was called to order at 7:02pm by Tom, K8TB.

Secretary's Report:

       Minutes of the July 2015 meeting were accepted as published on the HARC website.

Treasurer's Report:

	General Fund:	 	$3541.96
	Membership:   		$86.76
	Total:        		$3,628.72
	Treasurer and secretary reports were accepted as read.

Opening Remarks:
Allegan club will have a presentation on weather radar August 11.
Club VP Bryan Leenheer has been absent from club meetings due to work related classes.  
HARC just Licensed it’s 75th Technician since the Ham in a Day program started three years ago.


Upcoming events:		
	Programs:
	September
       September 26, Park 2 Park Race
Six hams are needed for simplex operation in support of this event, two or 
three more are still needed.   7:00am to 12:30pm. 
       VE Testing:
VE Testing is conducted at the Red Cross on the second Saturday of each even-
numbered month at 6pm.
“Ham in a Day” events are held prior to the April, August, and December VE 
testing sessions at 1pm.

Old Business:
	Ham in A Day
Seven students attended, six passed.  That makes a total of 75 hams licensed through 
Ham in a Day.

	Spark in the Park
		Succesful event, about 150 in attendance.
	
ISS Pass	
		West Michigan Aviation Academy has applied to be a ground station for a ISS pass.
	
	Field Day
        3070 total score submitted.
	
       Park to Park Race
		Todd needs two or three more volunteers for race communication support.

	No new business to report.
