Minutes of Meeting

General Discussion: 
Discussed scheduling future presentations for our monthly meetings.  Bryan will arrange programs 30 days in advance so that we can announce them at the preceding meeting.  Tom has located some DXpedition videos that we can show during club meetings if the scheduled presenter is unavailable.  Tom will accumulate further videos on an external hard drive.  Todd supplied Bryan with a list of suggested topics compiled during this Monday's 2m net.

Liability policy: The club has not carried a liability policy since it left the clubhouse.  Tom would like the club to discuss the possibility of securing a liability policy.  This will be added to the agenda at a future club meeting.

Tom will ask local clubs for a courtesy table at their hamfests for HARC, Skywarn, and OCARA.

Tom will ask Laryn to look into the cost of replacing the repeater controller and digital voice recorder.

We will keep a club calendar to ensure that we set up the appropriate resources in time to prepare for special events (e.g. Field Day, parades, ARRL Centennial QSO Party, Windmill event).

We discussed adding a publicity officer.  This will be added to the agenda at a future meeting.

Todd suggested adding a well-curated list of tutorials to the club website.

Bryan suggested that we have a coax testing party at a future club meeting.  Bryan and Phil suggested that we discuss replacing the coax at the club station.

Tom will try to get some time during the upcoming Skywarn training to encourage non-hams in Ottawa County to attend our next Ham in a Day event.

Tom receives a monthly roster of Ottawa County hams.  He suggested that we send renewal and club marketing information to those hams whose licenses are due to expire.

We will discuss moving our 2m net to a night that does not conflict with club meetings.
