Holland ARC General Membership Meeting Minutes

September 9, 2012
Meeting started at 7:00 PM by President, Ike K8EMU. Introductions followed.
Motion was made and approved to accept the August meeting minutes as shown on the web site.
Treasurer’s report was $ 4,612.58 in the general account and $ 166.76 in the membership account. 
Report was read and approved. 
 K8TB reported that Bryan, KD8LDX, Joe, AC8JD and K8TB were ready for the “Ham in a Day” technician 
class. 
Old Business
Phil, K8PVH reported on the Alzheimer’s walk and that all went well. 
Hank, K8HDL reported on the upcoming CERT training class in Ottawa County.
Phil, K8PVH reported for Jim Jipping, W8MRR who could not the meeting. Jim met with the original 
attorney who helped the club get organized. Jim indicated that the board should meet with the 
attorney to go over the language of some of the proposed changes.
Jim is also working on a new membership list. 
Tom, K8TB read a note from the Grand Rapids ARA that they will have a ham who went on a 
DXpedition at their next meeting. 
Don, KB8ODB spoke up asking for more members. 
Jeff, KB8QAP thanked Hank Dinkelman and Camp Kiwanis for their hospitality at the “QRP in the 
Camp”. 
There was no new business.  Business meeting was closed at 7:28 PM
The program for the evening was Jeff, KB8QAP and Bryan, KD8LDX on their Lighthouse Weekend at 
Grand Haven, and then K8TB showed a 50 minute video on the HK0NA, Malpelo Island Dxpedition.
