West Ottawa High School informed us that the gymnasium rental would increase from the $350 paid in 2010 to $2,000 in 2011. This increased expense of $1,500 essentially equals our 2010 Swap income, which would reduce our Swap income to nothing. Therefore, the Board cannot recommend returning to the WOHS unless the rental fee can be reduced. So, in summary, we have no Swap Chair, no Swap Committee, and no affordable venue, and there cannot be a swap hosted by HARC for 2011. 2011 Annual Banquet: We will return to the Beechwood Inn for our November 14, 2011 Banquet. The price remains at $20 per person and includes your full course meal, soft drinks, dessert, tax and gratuity. General Announcements: Congratulations to those in the Technician and General license classes who successfully passed and upgraded. Dave Lamer presented House Bill HR 607 and importance to contact our representatives ASAP. Time to sign up for Tulip Time. Parade Dates : May 11, 12, & 14.
