Discussion of damage to the club house. 6ft section of the club house roof is open to the weather. Cost estimate to repair: $8,000 to $15,000. The chimney would have to be repaired at the same time as the roof. City will not spend the money to make the repairs. City offered the building to the club for $1.00 if the club would move the building to another piece of property. Seeing that the repairs and purchase of property for the building is cost prohibitive, the city will most likely offer the building to others with the same requirements. If the building can’t be sold, it will most likely be torn down by the city. The Extra Class training has started, and the Technician Class will start on Wednesday. A robotics class has been invited to participate. A CW net on 28,200mhz at 7:00pm local on Thursday evenings has begun. All are welcomed and all speeds are encouraged.
