Sept 2009 Meeting Minutes

The Meeting was called to order at 7:15. 32 people filled in the sign-in sheet

Phil K8PVH gave the treasurer’s report : the main account had a balance of $1327.63 and the swap account had a balance of $2092.21

Ed KF8EV reported that we have 6 people signed up for the technicians class.

Tom K8TB reported that he has been in contact with the Grand Rapids club about a joint extra class. Tom will report back when he knows for sure.

Ed KF8EV Suggested that the club to look into buying a projector for club training.

UPDATE Tom K8TB found a good deal on a projector at a hamfest. The club now has a projector!

Jim KC8KE Showed the tulip time QSL card that will be send to all that made contact with the special event station this past May.

Tom K8TB reported that next fox hunt will be September 22nd at 6:30PM (meet at the club house)

Dave WA8RSA reported that the coax cable needs to be replaced at the repeater site. Dave is working on getting this done and will report back on this.

Program: John N8WVN presented an excellent talk about weather software and weather spotting .
